Success for Gorleston Typhoons U12s
Creating More Opportunities for Young Players
The team have had an outstanding season, going on to win the NSYFL U13 Cup - the highest trophy in their age group. This Under-13 knockout cup competition - the North Suffolk Youth Football League - is one of the main trophies available to teams in their age group. The Norfolk & Suffolk Youth Football League was founded in 1982.
Over 3000 children from the Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, South Norfolk and North Suffolk area enjoy organised football matches.

It’s a fantastic achievement built on hard work, teamwork and commitment throughout the year. The club has shared that the earlier GYSLT grant made a real difference, helping to support training and development and contributing to the environment that allowed the team to progress and succeed. The funding has been well used across the season, supporting regular sessions and match preparation.
